Background
The Department of General Services (DGS), Facilities Management Division (FMD) of the State of California is responsible for managing, maintaining, and operating state buildings and grounds.

This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is issued to procure diesel fire pump maintenance and repair services for equipment identified in the Equipment List. The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational readiness and safety of fire pump systems across state properties.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for diesel fire pump maintenance and repair services. The services include:

- Preventive Maintenance
- Inspection
- Testing
- Repairs as detailed in Attachment 10, Sample Agreement.

Specific tasks include quarterly monitoring of safety controls, mechanical transmission inspections, air induction system tests, cooling system maintenance, fuel system inspections, and emergency repair services as required. The work will be performed at the Ronald Reagan State Building located at 300 South Spring Street Suite 1726, Los Angeles, CA 90013.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of the contract will be three (3) years.
