IFB #23-0213 Janitorial Services - Lompoc

Background
The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services at their Pest Detection/Emergency Projects (PDEP) office located at 204 West Oak Avenue, Lompoc, CA 93436. The contract will be for a term from June 1, 2024, or upon final Department of General Services/Office of Legal Services (DGS/OLS) approval, through May 31, 2025, with the option to renew for two additional one-year terms if funding is available.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide janitorial services including cleaning supplies, replenishing restroom and warehouse supplies, responding to service requests within 24 hours, and following a detailed cleaning schedule including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual tasks.
The cleaning schedule includes tasks such as replenishing paper towel dispensers and toilet paper, emptying waste receptacles, vacuuming and mopping floors, cleaning windows and door glass, and sanitizing restroom areas. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for providing all necessary cleaning supplies at no additional cost to the state.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is from June 1, 2024, through May 31, 2025. The CDFA reserves the right to renew the agreement for two additional one-year terms if funding is available.

Place of Performance
The janitorial services are required at the CDFA Pest Detection/Emergency Projects (PDEP) office located at 204 West Oak Avenue, Lompoc, CA 93436.
