IFB: 1CA07387 - Chamberlain Creek Habitat Enhancement and Restoration

Background
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Chamberlain Creek Habitat Enhancement and Restoration project. The goal of this contract is to provide restoration and habitat enhancement services to Chamberlain Creek, which aligns with CAL FIRE's mission to protect California's natural resources.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees necessary for the restoration and habitat enhancement of Chamberlain Creek. This includes but is not limited to site preparation, planting native vegetation, erosion control measures, and any other activities necessary to restore the ecological health of the area.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe as outlined in the bid documents.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Chamberlain Creek Fire Camp located at 15800 California State Highway 20, Fort Bragg, CA 95437.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed to do business in California and provide proof of such. They must also have a valid license as a Registered Professional Forester or Licensed Timber Operator issued by CAL FIRE. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to include participation from Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBEs) and Small Businesses (SBs), with specific incentives available for those who meet participation goals.
