Background
The State of California, through the Department of Water Resources (DWR), is seeking bids for Uniform Rental and Laundering Services under IFB number 10210297. The DWR is responsible for ensuring that personnel involved in repairing and servicing hydroelectric, mobile, and heavy equipment are provided with necessary personal protective clothing to comply with safety regulations.

This contract aims to provide weekly rental, laundering, mending, repairing, and tailoring services for various uniforms and shop items to maintain compliance with safety standards.

Work Details
The contractor will provide labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and all other necessary items for the following services:
- Weekly rental and laundering of uniforms (including flame-resistant garments)
- Mending, repairing, tailoring of uniforms (pants, shirts, coveralls, bib overalls)
- Seat covers
- Shop towels
- Floor mats
- Dust mops

The contractor must ensure that all garments are new and unused. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for pick-up and delivery services at designated sites between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on the same day each week. Alterations and repairs must be provided at no extra charge.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of this agreement is three years, starting from October 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Department of Water Resources locations:
- Oroville Field Division at 460 Glen Drive, Oroville, California 95966
- Sutter Maintenance Yard at 6908 Colusa Highway, Sutter, California 95982.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have been providing professional laundry cleaning services on a full-time commercial basis for at least the past three years. They must include original signatures on required documents such as the Bid/Bidder Certification Sheet. Compliance with Small Business Preference Program requirements may be necessary; bidders must submit relevant certifications if applicable.
