HVAC Replacement Services - IFB 26C365001

Background
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is seeking bids for Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Replacement Services at the CHP Solano Area Office. The goal of this contract is to ensure the efficient operation of HVAC systems within the facility, aligning with CHP's mission to provide safety and service to the public.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive HVAC replacement services as outlined in Exhibit A, 'Scope of Work.' This includes the removal of existing HVAC units, installation of new units, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations, and performing necessary testing and adjustments to ensure optimal performance.

The contractor must also provide all materials, labor, tools, and equipment necessary for the completion of the project.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on July 1, 2026, and will run through June 30, 2027. The term may be extended based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the CHP Solano Area Office located at 3050 Travis Blvd., Fairfield, CA 94534.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid Contractors State License Board (CSLB) C-20 license for Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning. They must also be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) as per California Labor Code Sections 1770, 1773, and 1773.1.

Additionally, bidders are required to meet a minimum participation requirement of 5% for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE). Proof of liability insurance that meets specified requirements must be provided prior to contract execution.
