High Production Color Inkjet or Electro-Ink & Monochrome Digital Press Rentals

Background
The San Bernardino County Purchasing Department is seeking proposals to provide rental services for high production digital presses, both monochrome and color (inkjet or electro-ink).
The goal is to modernize and upgrade the County's Print Shop with the latest technology used in commercial print operations.
The number of awards will depend on the quality of proposals received.

Work Details
The contract involves the rental of high production digital presses with specific requirements:
1. **Equipment Specifications**:
- **Unit 1**: Canon imagePRESS C810 (or equivalent) capable of 160 pages per minute, supporting media up to 350 gsm duplex and 400 gsm simplex, with features like a color duplex image scanner and inline finishing capabilities.
- **Unit 2**: Canon varioPRINT 6000 TITAN 6220 (or equivalent) capable of over 200 pages per minute, with continuous roll-feed input and high-capacity feeding solutions.
- **Unit 3**: Canon varioPRINT DP 140/130 (or equivalent) capable of 130-140 pages per minute, supporting media weights from 50 gsm to 300 gsm.
2. **Deliverables/Requirements**:
- Monthly invoicing for each machine, including all services and fees.
- Delivery of consumable supplies within 24 hours.
- All equipment must be new; used or reconditioned equipment is unacceptable.
- Training on equipment use at no extra charge.
- Maintenance records must be maintained by the vendor, including service history and inspections.

Period of Performance
The contract period will last for a maximum of five years, beginning on July 1, 2026, and ending on June 30, 2031.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the San Bernardino County Print Shop located at 777 E. Rialto Ave., San Bernardino, CA 92415, and at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center located at 400 N. Pepper Ave., Colton, CA.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must comply with local preference policies if applicable.
They must also provide evidence of ability to insure as stated in the RFP.
Proposals must include all required certifications and licenses as specified in the solicitation.
