Heideman School Park (CIP No. 20089)

Background
The City of Tustin is inviting sealed bids for the construction of Heideman School Park (CIP No. 20089). The project aims to enhance community recreational facilities and includes various amenities to support outdoor activities. The agency's mission is to provide quality public spaces that promote health, wellness, and community engagement.

Work Details
The project consists of constructing a natural turf multi-purpose field with sports lighting, a perimeter track, playground, picnic area, restroom/office building, outdoor fitness equipment, exercise loop, tactile experience garden, perimeter fencing with gates, walkways/trails with passive lighting, security cameras, and basketball courts.

The work includes site work, earthwork, grading, storm drain utilities, domestic water utilities, and sewer utilities. Specific items include:
- Temporary construction fence with two sets of double gates
- Mobilization
- Clearing and grubbing
- Earth moving (6,951 CY)
- Import (6,764 CY)
- Storm water treatment units
- Various types of drainage inlets and pipes
- Concrete paving for running tracks and access drives
- Installation of playground equipment and surfacing
- Electrical systems for lighting and irrigation systems
- Landscaping including sodded turf and trees.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be completed within 280 calendar days from the notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Heideman School Park located at 15571 Williams Street, Tustin, CA 92780.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a Class A Contractor's License. They are required to submit a bid bond of at least 10% of the total bid amount. Additionally, bidders must have a Public Works Contractor Registration Number from the California Department of Industrial Relations.
