Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Replacement Services in Shasta County

Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this Invitation for Price Quote (IFPQ) #02A2384 for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) replacement services in Shasta County.
The purpose of this contract is to ensure the effective removal and installation of HVAC units to support Caltrans' mission of maintaining safe and efficient transportation infrastructure.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, travel, equipment, materials, supplies, parts, and incidentals necessary to remove 21 old HVAC units and install 21 equivalent new units provided by the contractor to Caltrans.
This includes specific tasks such as removing and installing swamp coolers and various HVAC units as detailed in the scope of work.
The estimated quantities include:
- 1 swamp cooler (62"x62"x60")
- 5 swamp coolers (52"x52"x52")
- 1 swamp cooler (50"x50"x50")
- 1 new 1.5-ton HVAC unit
- 1 new 4-ton HVAC unit
- 3 new 6-ton HVAC units
- 5 new 3-ton HVAC units
- 4 package units (80000 BTU).
Additionally, an hourly rate for unforeseen work is included.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period will commence upon execution of the agreement and is expected to be completed within a timeframe that aligns with the project requirements as specified in the IFPQ.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within Shasta County as designated by Caltrans.
