Heating, Ventilating, and Air- Conditioning (HVAC) Services (Yuba County)

Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) #03A4048 for Heating, Ventilating, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) Services in Yuba County. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper maintenance and repair of HVAC systems at the Caltrans District 3 Materials Testing Facility, enhancing operational efficiency and safety.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, travel, and incidentals necessary for:

1) Quarterly and annual preventative maintenance (PM) services for HVAC systems;
2) Routine and non-routine repair services of HVAC systems;
3) Reporting on maintenance activities.

Services will be performed at the Caltrans District 3 Materials Testing Facility located at 5330 Arboga Road, Olivehurst, CA 95961. The work must comply with Title 8 California Code of Regulations (CCR), Section 5143(a). The contractor must possess a valid C-20 license and AABC certification.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on November 01, 2025, and will expire on October 31, 2027.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Caltrans District 3 Materials Testing Facility located at 5330 Arboga Road, Olivehurst, CA 95961 in Yuba County.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid C-20 (Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating, and Air-Conditioning Contractor) license issued by the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB), a current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), and an AABC certification. Bidders are encouraged to participate in small business programs and must comply with prevailing wage laws if the total bid exceeds $15,000.
