Background
The California State Lands Commission (Commission) is seeking to hire a Contractor for the installation of a security fence and gates at the Huntington Beach Field Office. This project is part of the agency's mission to enhance security and safety at its facilities. The contract is being procured under the Small Business Option, encouraging participation from certified small businesses and microbusinesses.

Work Details
The work involves the construction and installation of a perimeter security fence and gates at the Huntington Beach Field Office located at 1700 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, CA 92648.

The purpose of this installation is to provide enhanced security by preventing unauthorized access, deterring potential intruders, ensuring safety for employees and visitors, and defining property boundaries for better monitoring.

The project must be completed within forty-five (45) business days from the approval of the work schedule following the official 'Notice to Proceed'. The contractor must designate a site manager responsible for overseeing the project and attend regular meetings with Commission staff to provide updates on progress.

Period of Performance
The contract term is from September 16, 2024, to November 18, 2024. Work completion is expected by November 11, 2024.
