GO-Biz Translation Services

Background
The Human Resources Office at GO-Biz seeks written translation services from English to several languages for all department programs per the Dymally-Alatorre Bilingual Services Act. The Dymally-Alatorre Bilingual Services Act requires GO-Biz to provide services in foreign languages when specific conditions are met.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide written translation services from English to languages including, but not limited to: Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Japanese, Italian, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Ukrainian. Proposers must provide a list of supported languages and a breakdown of costs associated with each language, cost/rate per word count, and any minimum charge(s).
The contractor must have at least five (5) years of continuous professional experience providing translation services to a California state or public agency. The contractor must be a legal business entity authorized to do business in the State of California and have their headquarters office located in the State of California. The contractor shall use only qualified translators for services provided through this Agreement and will be held responsible for the quality and accuracy of all services provided.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a 3-year period and is not to exceed $10,000.00.
