Gate Repair - Camp Parks- Dublin, CA

Background
The State of California Military Department is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Gate Repair project at Camp Parks Facilities Maintenance Shop (FMS) located at 920 6th Street, Dublin, CA 94568. The mission of the agency is to maintain and improve military facilities, ensuring they are safe and operational.

The goal of this contract is to repair the gate post and reinstall the gate swing at the Camp Parks Armory, which is essential for maintaining security and access to the facility.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits, and fees necessary for the Gate Repair project. Specific tasks include: repairing the gate post and reinstalling the gate swing at Camp Parks FMS.

All work must comply with the terms, conditions, and requirements outlined in this IFB. The prime contractor must possess a type C-13 - Fencing Contractor license or subcontract to one.

Period of Performance
The contractor will be allowed 90 calendar days to complete this project. The start date will be established by a Job Start Meeting within 7 days after receipt of the fully executed contract and issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

The work will be performed at Camp Parks Facilities Maintenance Shop (FMS), located at 920 6th Street, Dublin, CA 94568.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a type C-13 - Fencing Contractor license or subcontract to one. Bidders are required to submit proposals based solely on contract documents including drawings and specifications.

A payment bond of 100% of the contract amount is required if it exceeds $25,000. A performance bond is also required if progress payments will be made on contracts exceeding $10,000. Bidders must comply with all applicable labor laws including prevailing wage rates as determined by the Department of Industrial Relations.
