Gate 1 Sign LED Board Replacement

Background
The OC Fair & Event Center, operated by the 32nd District Agricultural Association, is seeking bids for the replacement of the Gate 1 Sign LED Board. This project aims to enhance the visibility and functionality of the signage at this multi-use facility, which hosts numerous public and private events throughout the year.

The contract will be awarded based on low-cost proposals that meet specified requirements.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for purchasing, removing, modifying (if necessary), and installing one Electronic Outdoor Full Color Double Face LED Video Display. The specifications for the LED display include:
- Total number of displays: One (1) Double Face (Two Single Faces) in Primary/Secondary configuration.
- Pixel Pitch: 6.0 mm - 6.66 mm RGB SMD type.
- Compliance with FCC Title 47, Part 15, Class A, including a compliance statement sticker and a certificate from an accredited testing lab.
- Minimum pixel matrix of 216 pixels (H) x 1056 pixels (W) with a total pixel density of at least 228,096 pixels per face.
- Active Viewing Area must not be smaller than 4' 8 3/4" (H) x 23' 1 1/4" (W).
- Brightness must be no less than 9,500 NITs maximum +/-5% / 8,000 NITs color-calibrated.
- Must support various file formats including JPEG, PNG, AVI, MP4 and display text, graphics, animations, and videos at no less than 60 frames per second.

Period of Performance
The contract term is from December 9, 2024 to December 8, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the OC Fair & Event Center located at 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, California.
