FY2025-26 Road Striping Project

Background
The County of Sutter, California, is issuing a contract for the FY2025-26 Road Striping Project. The project aims to enhance road safety and visibility through the removal and replacement of existing road striping and markings with new reflective thermoplastic paint. This initiative aligns with the County's commitment to maintaining safe transportation infrastructure for its residents.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and services necessary for the project. The work includes:

1) Removal of existing striping;
2) Replacement of all existing striping and markings on designated roads with new reflective thermoplastic paint;
3) Specific items include:
a) Striping Removal (1 LS),
b) Single Skip (81,595 LF),
c) Skip Solid (8,935 LF),
d) Double Yellow (9,173 LF),
e) White Edge Line (197,979 LF),
f) Reflective Pavement Markers (3,043 EA),
g) Various stop bars and arrows in specified square footage.

The project must be completed within 30 working days.

Period of Performance
The contract work is to be completed within 30 working days from the commencement date as stated in the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will take place on designated roads within Sutter County, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid California Contractor’s License Class A or appropriate classification. Bids must include security in the form of a bid bond or certified check equal to at least 10% of the total bid amount. Contractors must also be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations as per Labor Code section 1725.5.
