Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT) Runway 11L-29R Reconstruction Airport Improvement Program Grant NO. 3-06-0087-100-2025

Background
The City of Fresno is issuing this solicitation for the Runway 11L-29R Reconstruction Project at Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT) under the Airport Improvement Program Grant NO. 3-06-0087-100-2025.
The project aims to enhance airport infrastructure and ensure compliance with federal aviation standards.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Full depth reconstruction of Runway 11L-29R with Portland cement concrete (PCC) pavement;
- Reconstruction of runway shoulders in asphaltic concrete (AC) pavement;
- Seal coat of Taxiways B and C;
- Sealcoat of connector Taxiway B6 and connector taxiways B12 and C12 from runway to the hold bars;
- Reconstruction of connector taxiways B10 and C10 (construction alternates);
- Seal coat of the 11L blast pad/overrun area (construction alternate);
- Mill and overlay of connector Taxiway B2 (construction alternate);
- Reconstruction of the 29R blast pad/overrun area including improvements to existing approach lighting with sequenced flashing lights (ALSF) (construction alternate);
- Demolition of Taxiways B3 and B4 (construction alternate).

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be performed over a period leading up to the bid opening on August 5, 2025, with specific timelines for various phases outlined in the project specifications.

The work will be performed at Fresno Yosemite International Airport, located in Fresno, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid Class 'A' Contractor's License issued by the State of California.
Additionally, all proposals must include a Bid Deposit amounting to TEN PERCENT (10%) of the Total Net Bid Amount.
Contractors and Subcontractors must comply with Labor Code sections 1771.1 and 1771.5 prior to submitting bids.
The project is subject to federal requirements including Buy American Preference, Davis Bacon Requirements, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation.
