Background
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the procurement of VEST Privacy Booths to be delivered to the California State Prison in Sacramento. The goal of this contract is to provide privacy booths for use by incarcerated persons, ensuring compliance with safety and design standards as mandated by the CDCR.

Work Details
The contract requires the supply of 3 free-standing, single-occupancy privacy booths (non-ADA compliant) as per the attached specifications. Each booth must include:
- Acoustical walls, roof, and ceiling
- Flooring components
- Door with hardware, latch, and glazing
- Stool
- Steel backing plate for future desk installation
- Casters, leveling feet, and seismic restraints
- Lighting and exhaust fan/venting
- Welding and fasteners
- Finishes and paint
- Electrical components
- Telecommunications mounts.
Additionally, bidders must provide installation services if requested by CDCR, a minimum 10-year warranty per booth, and complete submittals including isometric or 3D images of the proposed product.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period will commence upon receipt of the purchase order and is expected to conclude with delivery by April 15, 2026.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to California State Prison - Sacramento located at 100 Prison Rd., Represa, CA 95671.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with California's small business regulations and may claim preferences as a California certified small business or as a non-small business with at least 25% small business subcontractor participation. Bidders are required to submit a Bidder Declaration Form GSPD-05-105 along with their bid response. Additionally, they must provide their California seller's permit number or certification prior to award.
