Floor Replacement Services in Marin County

Background
The California State Transportation Agency, under the leadership of Governor Gavin Newsom, is issuing this Invitation for Price Quote (IFPQ) #04A7039 for Floor Replacement Services at the Manzanita Maintenance Station in Marin County.

The purpose of this contract is to acquire construction services for the removal and replacement of flooring, which is part of the agency's mission to maintain state infrastructure effectively.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, tools, materials, vehicles, equipment, travel, and incidentals necessary to remove and legally dispose of existing vinyl flooring and base molding at the Manzanita Maintenance Facility.

Additionally, the contractor will install new vinyl composition tile flooring and base molding as specified in Exhibit A of the Proposed Form of Agreement. The scope includes:
1) Removal and disposal of existing flooring;
2) Installation of new flooring;
3) Labor for unforeseen work as needed;
4) Reimbursement for unforeseen conditions based on actual costs with no additional markup.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon execution and is expected to be completed by the expiration date set forth in the Agreement.

Specific timelines include a final date for quote submission by August 27, 2024, with an estimated award date on September 6, 2024.
