Fleet Fuel Services

Background
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide fleet fuel services for their vehicle fleet over a three-year period. The goal of this contract is to ensure a reliable, cost-effective, and efficient fuel supply to support the operations of the Sheriff’s Office.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide fleet fuel services including:

1. Fuel Supply & Distribution: Provide gasoline, diesel, and alternative fuels; maintain an uninterrupted supply at competitive prices; ensure availability at multiple fueling stations within Lake County and California using a single card per vehicle.

2. Fueling Infrastructure & Access: Provide access to a network of fueling stations compatible with fleet cards; offer on-site fueling options if required; ensure stations are operational 24/7 and comply with industry standards.

3. Fuel Card Program & Reporting: Issue secure fuel cards with customizable controls; provide detailed transaction reports; implement fraud prevention measures; provide exception reports and alerts.

4. Commercial Fueling Requirements: Online account access for cards, transactions, invoices, and real-time data management; electronic reports including invoices and tax reports in formats compatible with Lake County software integration; no fees for cards or reports.

5. Pricing & Payment Structure: Offer competitive pricing models with transparent invoicing and electronic payment options; ensure clear contract terms without hidden fees.

6. Environmental & Regulatory Compliance: Comply with all relevant regulations and provide environmentally sustainable fuel options.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of three years from the date of award.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within Lake County and the State of California.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, including insurance requirements as specified in the RFP. Successful respondents will need to demonstrate their ability to meet the necessary facilities, ability, and financial resources to provide the required services.
