Fire Alarm System Monitoring and Repair Services at Cal Expo Facilities

Background
The California Exposition & State Fair (Cal Expo) is seeking ongoing fire alarm monitoring and repair services for its facilities located at 1600 Exposition Boulevard in Sacramento, which hosts the annual California State Fair.
The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to ensure the safety and functionality of the fire alarm systems at these facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide 24/7 monitoring and dispatching for fire alarm systems, maintain call down lists, reprogram nine panel nodes and the central station as needed, provide alarm reports, and send email notifications of system alarms to Cal Expo’s maintenance staff.
Additionally, the contractor will perform as-needed repairs and modifications to the existing Gamewell network across all nodes at Cal Expo.
The fire alarm system includes approximately 100 devices across nine panel nodes with specific zone numbers for various locations within the facility.
The contractor must have a minimum of ten years of experience in fire alarm monitoring, possess a valid C-16 Contractor’s license, be an authorized dealer of Gamewell Honeywell products, and maintain proprietary Gamewell software licensing throughout the contract duration.

Period of Performance
The term of this agreement is from November 15, 2025 or upon contract approval through November 14, 2028.

Place of Performance
California Exposition & State Fair facilities located at 1600 Exposition Boulevard, Sacramento, CA.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of ten years’ experience in fire alarm monitoring, hold a valid C-16 Contractor’s license, be an authorized dealer of Gamewell Honeywell products, and maintain proprietary Gamewell fire protection software licensing for the duration of the contract.
