Fire Alarm Detection System Upgrade (Siemens & Edwards EST)

This contract seeks the preparation of all required documents for permit acquisition, if necessary, and the execution of construction services to provide turn-key solutions for upgrading the fire alarm detection systems at the General Administration Office (GAO) and Solana Beach Train Station (SBS). The work includes the removal and replacement of existing fire alarm system components, such as control panels, activation devices, annunciation devices, detection devices, and all associated wiring. The project will involve procuring all necessary materials, equipment, labor, and system support to ensure the comprehensive upgrade of the fire alarm systems, with the replacement of all or some devices and wiring as needed. This solicitation is being issued for the upgrade of Siemens and Edwards EST fire alarm systems at the specified locations. The background of this contract involves the need to modernize and enhance the fire alarm detection capabilities at the GAO and SBS facilities to ensure compliance with current safety standards and improve overall system reliability. Contract requirements include the preparation of permit documents (if required), procurement of all materials and equipment, provision of labor and system support, and the complete removal and replacement of fire alarm system components and wiring as specified in the scope of work.
