FD-50 Park Project

Background
The City of Roseville is initiating the FD-50 Park Project, aimed at enhancing local recreational facilities. The project is intended for pre-qualified Prime Contractors who are listed on the City of Roseville Parks, Recreation and Libraries 2026 Pre-Qualified Contractor List. The goal is to improve community amenities through the construction of a new park.

Work Details
The scope of work for the base bid includes:
- Grading and utilities
- Furnishing and installation of Playground Option A
- A Shade Structure with a seated picnic area
- Walking paths
- Turf area
- Planting and irrigation.

Additive alternates include:
- Furnishing and installation of Playground Option B in lieu of Option A
- A half basketball court
- Additional turf and irrigation
- Sod in lieu of seeded turf
- A concrete half basketball court instead of planting and irrigation.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from the award date until completion, with an engineer's estimate for construction of base bid items set at $580,000.

Place of Performance
The work will be conducted in Roseville, California, specifically within Placer County.

Bidder Requirements
Only Prime Contractors listed on the City’s 2026 Pre-Qualified Contractor List may submit bids. Contractors must possess a valid Class contractor's license at the time of bid submission. Additionally, bidders must submit a Bid Guaranty equal to at least 10% of their total bid price. The successful bidder will also need to provide a Public Works Faithful Performance Bond, Labor and Materials Payment Bond, and insurance documentation.
