Ext Prt | Roofing & Structural Repairs

Background
The City and County of San Francisco is issuing a contract for roofing and structural repairs at Pier 9 and Pier 33. The goal of the contract is to address deteriorated roofing materials and structural elements to ensure safety and functionality.

Work Details
The base work will consist of:
• Pier 9: Remove, repair, and/or replace deteriorated roofing materials, roof decking, parapet elements, ladders, flagpoles, conduit, roof equipment and related utility connections, exterior lights, and the roof drainage system. New exterior lights and overflow drains will be added to the roof system.

• Pier 33: Remove, repair, and/or replace deteriorated structure, roofing materials, roof decking, windows, parapet elements, ladders, flagpoles, conduit, roof equipment and related utility connections. New overflow drains will be added to the roof system.

There are two additive bid alternates to upgrade the bulkhead or shed portions of the roof diaphragm at Pier 9.

Period of Performance
The contract work is scheduled to begin on October 1, 2025, and is expected to be completed by October 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Pier 9 and Pier 33 in San Francisco, California.
