EXT PRT | BID FOR Amador Street Infrastructure Imp

Background
The Port of San Francisco (the “Port”) has announced an Invitation for Bids (“IFB”) for construction on AMADOR STREET INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS in San Francisco, CA. The work is to perform infrastructure improvements to replace gravity sewer and storm drains, roadway pavement, landscape, the existing defunct Amador Street sanitary pump station, associated discharge force main pipe, fittings and appurtenances that end at Amador Street utility corridor, and all related and incidental work.
The new sanitary pump station shall be equipped with automated, redundant instrument controls with provisions for future system expansion.

Work Details
The contract involves performing infrastructure improvements to replace gravity sewer and storm drains, roadway pavement, landscape, the existing defunct Amador Street sanitary pump station, associated discharge force main pipe, fittings and appurtenances that end at Amador Street utility corridor, and all related and incidental work.

Period of Performance
The contract requires substantial completion within 639 consecutive calendar days from the official date of the Notice to Proceed set by the City. The critical milestone for Interim Electrical Work must be completed and ready for energization no later than July 31, 2025.
Final completion must be no later than sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the date of City’s issuance of Notice of Substantial Completion.
