Description

1) A brief project summary: Mercy Housing was selected by the San Francisco Mayor's Office of Housing and Community Development to develop senior independent living, together with other programs mentioned below, on the Laguna Honda Hospital campus near Forest Hill Station in San Francisco. The proposed program will include: Phase I: o Approximately 140 units of Senior independent affordable housing (1-BR's) o Approximately 6,300 SF Early childcare education center (projected to serve an estimated 50 children) Phase II: o Approximately 110 units of Assisted living or Enhanced Services for frail elderly households o An approximately 8,300 SF Adult day health center Mercy selected Architect, Construction Manager, and the majority of the architects consultants in 2020. 2) Scopes of work for this RFP: This section includes the professional services requested at this time. Additional consultants will be selected under a separate RFQ. - Waterproofing - Lighting - Joint Trench Scoping and Design See RFP for requirements of what to include in the response and the Scope for each discipline. 3) LBE/SBE goals for the entire project and specific RFP: The project will receive public funding from the City and County of San Francisco. The San Francisco Contract Monitoring Division (CMD) has assigned a 25% Small Business Enterprise (SBE) subconsulting goal. The developer/sponsor is responsible for meeting the overall SBE participation goal, which includes design and pre-construction services. Consultants selected through this RFP may count their own participation towards the 25% SBE goal. 4) Bid discount or rating bonus: The following rating bonus will be in effect for the award of this project for any proposers who are certified as an SBE, or joint ventures where the joint venture partners are in the same discipline and have the specific levels of participation as identified below. The rating bonus applies at each phase of the selection process. Work Details
