Background
The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is seeking qualified suppliers to provide proposals for the development, implementation, integration, maintenance, and support services for a new Airport Identity Management System (AIDMS). The goal of this contract is to automate the identity management and credential issuance process for individuals requiring access to secure and non-secure areas at SFO, thereby enhancing security operations.
Work Details
The contractor will deliver all necessary system software and design components, including configuration services to support installation, implementation, integration, testing, and maintenance of the AIDMS. The work will be divided into two phases:
- Phase 1: Development and implementation of all hardware, software, and AIDMS functionality.
- Phase 2: Warranty, maintenance, and support of the AIDMS.
Additionally, the contractor must provide comprehensive training and user documentation to ensure effective system operation. The AIDMS must comply with TSA requirements for security vetting, credential issuance, and recordkeeping. The contractor is also expected to recommend workstations and peripherals for SFO to procure separately from this contract.
Period of Performance
The contract duration is five years with an option to extend for two additional years.
