Expanded Learning Opportunities After School Program 26-27

Background
The Menifee Union School District is soliciting proposals for the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program, an after-school initiative aimed at addressing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs of students in grades TK-8.
This program is designed to provide engaging learning experiences that complement the regular school day without replicating it.
The district seeks community partners with relevant experience to deliver high-quality educational enrichment opportunities in areas such as athletics, gymnastics, dance, martial arts, music, and theater across its 16 school sites.

Work Details
The selected vendors will be responsible for providing enrichment classes after school that align with the goals of the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program.
Services include:
1) High-quality educational enrichment opportunities in athletics, gymnastics, dance, martial arts, music, and theater;
2) Development of schedules by the Director of Expanded Learning in collaboration with vendors;
3) Rotation of services across all 16 school sites throughout the academic year;
4) Compliance with California Department of Education standards for expanded learning programs.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed during the regular 180-day school year from the end of the school day until 5:00 PM for elementary schools and until 4:30 PM for middle schools.

Place of Performance
Services will be provided at various locations within the Menifee Union School District, including but not limited to Menifee Preschool and multiple elementary and middle schools located in Menifee and surrounding areas.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must demonstrate experience in providing high-quality instruction to students in grades TK-8.
They must ensure that all staff meet minimum qualifications as instructional aides per district requirements and have completed necessary background checks.
Vendors are required to maintain a minimum staff-to-student ratio of 1:20 for grades 1-8 and 1:10 for TK and K.
Additionally, vendors must provide a detailed proposal including a description of their organization, program activities, staffing plans, and how they will incorporate quality standards into their programming.
