Entertainment - Marina Event - Contract

Background
The County of Los Angeles is seeking a vendor to produce a Halloween event at Burton Chace Park in Marina del Rey. The goal of the contract is to create a unique Halloween experience that appeals to a wide audience, including various age groups and fear-tolerance levels. This event is part of the County's efforts to provide engaging community activities.

Work Details
The vendor will be responsible for the design, planning, and production of the Halloween event, which includes:

1. Creative Halloween event design consultation and overall project management oversight.
2. Production services including props and décor, sound, lighting/projections, labor and event staff, custom-built attractions, selfie stations, power/generators, entertainers/performers, and activities for different age groups.
3. Custom-designed attractions such as a Kids Giant Grid Halloween Maze, Kids Buccaneer Pirate Ship, Dual Lane Giant Inflatable Slide, Fun House Pumpkin Obstacle Course, and various carnival games.
4. Full sound package with multiple microphones and speakers for optimal audio coverage across the venue.
5. Lighting effects including custom motion patterns and fogging for sets and décor areas.
6. Entertainment featuring professional performers like jugglers and magicians.
7. Thematic decorations throughout the 10-acre site to create an immersive experience.

Period of Performance
The event is scheduled for October 25-26, 2025, with installation occurring on October 23-24, 2025. The strike schedule is set for October 27, 2025.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have at least ten years of experience in producing unique Halloween events as the sole producer. They must provide proof of experience with five different government agencies over three repeated occasions each. Bidders must possess an inventory of at least 15,000 Halloween-specific props and decorations and have a large staff of experienced fabricators and actors trained in entertainment for Halloween events.
