Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System Request for Information (RFI)

Background
The County of Sacramento, Department of General Services, at the request of the Department of Technology (DTech), is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather current market information for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system.

The goal is to modernize and streamline County business processes, standardize data collection and reporting, and support decision-making to improve operational effectiveness. Sacramento County has an estimated population of 1.6 million residents and manages an annual budget of almost $8.9 billion. The current ERP system is based on SAP modules that may require modernization.

Work Details
The RFI seeks information on market-ready ERP systems that can support Enterprise Human Resources and Finance functions, including Payroll, Utility Billing, and Revenue Recovery.

Respondents are encouraged to provide insights into the following areas: Human Capital Management (HCM), Finance, Procurement, Utility Billing, Security, and Integration. Vendors should also consider how commercially available ERP systems meet Sacramento County's business requirements and provide planning estimates for staffing needed to implement and maintain an ERP solution.

Period of Performance
This RFI is for informational purposes only and does not commit the County to any contract or timeline for implementation. Specific periods of performance will be defined in any future RFPs.

The services will be performed in Sacramento County, California.
