Encinal Canyon Road 60-Inch Storm Drain Repairs Project

Background
The Encinal Canyon Road 60-Inch Storm Drain Repairs Project is initiated by the City of Malibu's Public Works Department. The project aims to repair an existing 60-inch corrugated metal pipe (CMP) to enhance stormwater management and infrastructure integrity in the area. The City of Malibu is committed to maintaining its public works and ensuring that the storm drainage system operates effectively to prevent flooding and other related issues.

Work Details
The proposed improvements include:
1. Repairing an existing 60-inch corrugated metal pipe (CMP) using a spiral wound polyvinyl chloride (PVC) profile method.
2. Hydrojetting the existing pipe.
3. Conducting a closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection of the pipe.
4. Performing all other appurtenant work as included and shown in the Contract Documents and Specifications.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be completed within 45 consecutive working days from the date of the notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed on Encinal Canyon Road, Malibu, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid Class 'A' State of California contractor's license at the time of bid submission. Additionally, bidders must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). The contractor must have a minimum of seven years of experience in removing and replacing storm drain lines, having completed at least five projects within the last seven years that include a minimum of 150 linear feet of storm drain replacement per project.
