Background
The City of Lake Forest, located in southern Orange County, California, is seeking proposals from qualified professional consultants to develop and implement a comprehensive Emergency Management Training and Exercise Program. Work Details
The contractor will design, manage, and deliver a comprehensive training program that includes interactive learning techniques such as scenario-based activities and workshops. Specific services include:
1. Training for Elected Officials: 1 session per year (1.5 hours) covering the emergency management system fundamentals.
2. Training for City Staff: 2 sessions per year (4 hours each) on roles in the Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
3. EOC Tabletop Exercise: 2 sessions per year (4 hours each) focusing on practical applications of EOC activation.
4. EOC Functional Exercise: 1 session per year incorporating lessons learned from previous trainings.
5. Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Functional Exercise: 1 session annually testing knowledge of CERT volunteers.
