Work Details
The contract involves providing a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Workers’ Compensation Claims Management System that includes:
1. Procurement of selected Claims tools licenses and transfer to DIR within 45 days post-award.
2. Implementation of the COTS system supporting Uninsured Employer Benefits Trust Fund (UEBTF) and Subsequent Injury Benefits Trust Fund (SIBTF) claims processing.
3. Integration with external systems and DIR’s Google Cloud Platform for data operations.
4. Configuration and customization of the system as needed.
5. Collaboration with a data migration vendor for migrating claims data from legacy systems.
6. Training and knowledge transfer to DIR staff.
7. Ongoing maintenance and support services.
Period of Performance
The base term of the contract is two years, with an option for one additional year, making a maximum potential term of three years.
Place of Performance
The performance will primarily take place in California, utilizing DIR's Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.
