Elderly Nutrition Program Services

Background
The Los Angeles County Aging & Disabilities Department (AD) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Elderly Nutrition Program (ENP) Services.

The ENP Services aim to assist individuals aged 60 and older, including frail individuals, by providing nutritional meal services that focus on maintaining and improving their physical, psychological, and social well-being.

Work Details
The contract includes the provision of Congregate Meal Services under the Older Americans Act (OAA) Title III C-1 funding.

The services will encompass various meal categories such as American Meals, Ethnic Meals, and Grab and Go options. Each service category will require a specified number of unduplicated clients served, units of service provided, unit rates, and proposed funding amounts.

The contractor will also be responsible for ensuring that all meals meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Statement of Work & Attachments.

Period of Performance
The contract will span multiple fiscal years from 2022-2023 through 2025-2026.

Place of Performance
Services will be provided across various regions within Los Angeles County, including but not limited to:
- Antelope Valley Region
- East Gateway Cities Region
- Mid Gateway Cities Region
- San Gabriel Valley Region
- San Fernando Valley Region
- Santa Clarita Valley Region
- South Bay Region
- West Gateway Cities Region (including Central Los Angeles Region)
- Westside Cities Region.
