East County Roads Paving Project, RDS 25-11

Background
The East County Roads Paving Project, RDS 25-11, is issued by Napa County, California. The project aims to improve the road infrastructure within Napa County by resurfacing and repairing several roads to enhance safety and accessibility for the community.

Work Details
The project includes grinding three (3) inches of existing pavement and placement of three (3) inches of new pavement. Additional work involves culvert replacement, culvert lining, selective dig outs, and adjusting utility and monument covers.

Specific roads involved in this project include Circle Oaks Drive, Gordon Valley Road, Sunnyhill Lane, Wooden Valley Cross Road, and Wooden Valley Road. The contractor is required to maintain one lane of traffic at all times during construction. The asphalt road treatment will consist of a 3-inch mill and fill HMA type A (1/2") from edge point to edge point per specifications. The contractor must also stripe road centerlines and right edge lines according to Caltrans specifications.

The contract will be performed from the date of award until completion, with a bid submission deadline set for July 9, 2025.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a Class 'A' or 'C-12' license at the time of contract award. A bid guarantee of 10% of the total bid is required. Successful bidders must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond equal to 100% of the contract price. All contractors must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations to perform public work.
