Drinking Water Testing Services in Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Tuolumne, Mariposa, Merced, and San Joaquin Counties

Background
The California State Transportation Agency, under the leadership of Governor Gavin Newsom, is issuing this Invitation for Price Quote (IFPQ) #10A2678 for Drinking Water Testing Services. The purpose of this contract is to ensure safe drinking water quality in various counties including Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Tuolumne, Mariposa, Merced, and San Joaquin.

This solicitation aims to acquire services from certified small businesses or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBEs) with an estimated contract value between $5,000 and $250,000.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary labor, testing equipment, materials, tools, supplies, incidentals, and travel to conduct drinking water collection, sampling, and testing for Caltrans. Specific tasks include:

1. Monthly Colilert P/A and Chlorine Residual sampling and testing at multiple maintenance stations (Caples Lake, Peddler Hill, Woodford, Cabbage Patch, Sonora, Midpines).
2. Annual Nitrate sampling and testing at specified locations.
3. Once every three years Nitrite sampling and testing at designated sites.
4. Additional tests such as Regulated VOCs and SOCs every three years at Westley SRRA and CHP Chowchilla Weigh Station.
5. Monthly bacteria re-tests as needed.

All services must comply with the standards outlined in STD 213 and include submission of test results.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue for a duration that aligns with the specified testing schedules (monthly and annual), with specific tasks occurring at defined intervals over the contract period.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed across various locations in California including Alpine County, Amador County, Calaveras County, Tuolumne County, Mariposa County, Merced County, San Joaquin County as well as specific maintenance stations like Caples Lake Maintenance Station and CHP Chowchilla Weigh Station.
