Daycare Space for Lease - Atascadero

Background
The State of California, through the Department of General Services and the California Department of State Hospitals, is seeking bids to lease space for a daycare center within the Atascadero State Hospital. This initiative aims to provide childcare services for children of State employees, supporting the mission of the hospital and enhancing employee benefits.

Work Details
The contract involves leasing two buildings:
- Building 1 (1,518 square feet)
- Building 2, a modular building (2,160 square feet)

Additionally, there will be a playground area (17,149 square feet) and a parking area (3,133 square feet). The successful bidder must provide all necessary supplies and equipment for the daycare program and ensure that all appropriate licensing and permits for childcare are obtained at their expense. The rental rate is set at $100.00 per month for a five-year period, with utilities billed separately to the lessee. The project scope includes areas designated in the attached map marked Exhibit A.

Period of Performance
The lease will commence upon execution of the lease agreement and will last for five years.
