Background
The University of California, Berkeley (UCB) is seeking proposals for a Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM) Asset Management Software to enhance asset tracking and vulnerability management for computing devices connected to university networks.
This initiative follows a directive from the UC Office of the President aimed at improving compliance with security requirements across all UC locations.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide a comprehensive CAASM solution that includes:
- Identification and tracking of all computing devices connected to university networks.
- A centrally managed tool for accurate asset information collection.
- Enhanced communication and remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Integration capabilities with existing systems without requiring custom code.
- Support for role-based access control and distributed administrator access.
- API access for data retrieval and management.
- Reporting functionalities including asset discovery, vulnerability assessments, and compliance reporting.
- Ongoing technical support, maintenance, and enhancements throughout the contract term.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to run from June 30, 2025, through June 30, 2026, with options for renewal in one-year increments up to five years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily at the University of California, Berkeley campus.
