Background
The Los Angeles County Internal Services Department (ISD) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals for the provision of comprehensive custodial services.
The goal of this contract is to ensure that all facilities are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, supporting the overall mission of the County to provide essential services to its residents.

Work Details
Proposers are required to provide comprehensive custodial services across various facilities as specified in Attachment 3 (Facility Specification Sheets) of the Statement of Work (SOW). This includes:
1. Completing a staffing plan that details position titles, full-time or part-time status, and hourly rates for each facility.
2. Meeting minimum staffing requirements as outlined in the SOW, with the ability to propose additional staffing if necessary.
3. Ensuring coverage for daily services at each facility, identifying whether employees will be full-time, part-time, or overtime.
4. Submitting a staffing plan primarily composed of full-time employees unless justification for part-time staff is provided.
5. Completing required forms including Exhibit 12 (Living Wage Program Staffing Plan) and Exhibit 5 (Community Business Enterprise Information).

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to continue for a duration specified in the RFP documents, typically spanning multiple years depending on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
The custodial services will be performed at various locations throughout Los Angeles County as detailed in the RFP documents.
