Custodial Services for Parks and Facilities

Background
The Cosumnes Community Services District (District) is accepting proposals for contracted custodial services. The District has park restrooms and other facilities in Elk Grove that require custodial services. The District provides essential quality of life services including fire protection, emergency medical services, and parks and recreation services. The District encompasses roughly 157 square miles and serves an estimated population of 190,000 people. The District is dedicated to the principles of competition and fairness. The District is committed to ensuring that local taxpayers receive the maximum value for every District expenditure.

Work Details
The contracted custodial services include cleaning park restrooms varying in size from 128 to 1,080 square feet and other facilities varying in size from 1,920 to 28,537 square feet.
The scope of work includes:
- Cleaning floors
- Sinks
- Countertops
- Toilets
- Urinals
- Stalls
- Dispensers restocking
- Trash containers emptying
- Cobweb removal
- Trash container wiping down
- Urgent and non-urgent maintenance issues reporting as appropriate.
Additionally, the contractor must supply all cleaning products and hand soap for the Park Restrooms.

Period of Performance
The proposal deadline is May 16, 2024 by 12:00 PM. The award of bid by District Board of Directors is scheduled for July 1, 2024.
Commencement of services is expected after the transmittal of a fully executed agreement beginning July 1, 2024.

Place of Performance
The custodial services will be performed at various locations within Elk Grove.
