Curb, Gutter, and Sidewalk Replacement Project 2025

Background
The Curb, Gutter, and Sidewalk Replacement Project 2025 is initiated by the County of Sacramento's Department of Transportation.
The project aims to enhance public infrastructure by replacing existing curb, gutter, and sidewalk facilities at various locations throughout Sacramento County.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental work required to satisfactorily complete the project.
Specific tasks include: removing and replacing concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk; removing and replacing asphalt concrete pavement adjacent to the replaced curb and gutter; ensuring all work adheres to the specifications outlined in the County of Sacramento Standard Construction Specifications dated November 1, 2024.
The project also includes environmental controls at the work site, traffic control measures, and compliance with safety regulations.
The primary work locations are detailed in an appendix provided with the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be completed within 40 working days from the start date as specified by the Engineer.

Place of Performance
Various locations throughout Sacramento County.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific insurance requirements including general liability coverage of $3 million per occurrence and $2 million for pollution liability.
Bidders are also required to submit a Water Pollution Control Program within 5 working days following contract award.
All contractors must ensure compliance with local regulations regarding permits and licenses.
