CTW Shade Structures IFB #23-20152

Background
The Department of State Hospitals (DSH) is seeking a contractor to provide construction services for the Chronic Treatment West (CTW) Building. The contractor is required to provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, permits, prevailing wages, insurance, bonds, and personnel to construct eight (8) shade structures and patio modifications to demo and create landscaping planters and sport areas to facilitate the addition of the shade structures at the CTW Building.

Work Details
The work involves the construction of shade structures and patio modifications at the CTW Building. This includes providing all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, permits, prevailing wages, insurance, bonds, and personnel.
The construction will involve demo and creation of landscaping planters and sport areas to facilitate the addition of the shade structures.
The specifications include details on concrete forming and accessories, selective demolition procedures for specific materials such as concrete and masonry, disposal of demolished materials,
cleaning adjacent structures and improvements of dust, dirt, and debris caused by selective demolition operations.

Place of Performance
The construction work will be performed at the Chronic Treatment West (CTW) Building located at 11401 S. Bloomfield Avenue in Norwalk, California.
