The California Tahoe Conservancy (Conservancy) is seeking construction services to board up all openings of the former Motel 6 property (2375 Lake Tahoe Blvd.) in South Lake Tahoe. All work must be completed in accordance with the FEMA Board up Procedures (April 2018) included below (FEMA Standard). Per FEMA Standards, all boards must be painted to match the color of the structure. All board ups must be marked with the unit numbers stenciled in a uniform manner on each covering. To accomplish the board up to the FEMA Standard the contractor will need to remove the existing oriented strand boards (OSB) and create wall breaches between rooms.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Boarding up all openings of the Motel 6 property, including doors, windows, and AC unit openings.
2. Removal of existing oriented strand boards (OSB) and creation of wall breaches between rooms as necessary.
3. All boards must be painted to match the color of the structure and marked with unit numbers stenciled uniformly on each covering.
4. Compliance with FEMA standards throughout the boarding process.

Period of Performance
