CSUB Job Order Contract 2025/26

Background
The Trustees of the California State University (CSU) are issuing a solicitation for Job Order Contracts (JOC) to provide construction and repair services across their campuses. The goal of this contract is to facilitate the timely execution of various infrastructure projects, including repair, alteration, modernization, maintenance, rehabilitation, demolition, and construction of buildings and other real property.

This contract aims to streamline the procurement process for these services by establishing fixed prices for specific tasks.

Work Details
The scope of work under this contract includes a collection of detailed repair and construction tasks with established unit prices. Contractors will be responsible for providing all management, documentation, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the work. The JOC will cover various public works projects subject to prevailing wage laws.

The minimum total contract value is $0.00 with a maximum total contract value of $1,000,000, which may be increased to $3,000,000 if necessary. Specific tasks may include but are not limited to:
- Repair and maintenance of existing structures
- New construction
- Alterations
- Modernization efforts
- Demolition activities as required by CSU.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a term of twelve (12) months from the date of award unless the maximum value is reached prior to completion.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various California State University campuses as specified in individual task orders issued under the JOC.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be prequalified with CSU and possess a valid contractor's license in California. They must also register with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) to bid on public works projects.

Bidders are required to achieve a minimum of 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation in each project under this contract. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required for all prospective bidders prior to submitting proposals.
