Convault Fuel Tanks

Work Requested:
The County of Kern is seeking bids for the supply and delivery of Convault, or equivalent, above-ground, 2,000-gallon double wall steel fuel tanks. The tanks are to be delivered to Bakersfield, CA.

Requesting Entity:
This solicitation is issued by the County of Kern.

Background:
The County of Kern requires above-ground double wall steel fuel tanks to meet its operational needs. The tanks specified are either Convault brand or an equivalent product that meets the stated specifications and quality standards.

Contract Requirements:

• Supply and deliver above-ground, 2,000-gallon double wall steel fuel tanks (Convault or equivalent) to Bakersfield, CA.
• Completion and return of the Quotation Request form, including the Vendor Information section.
• Completion and return of the Comply/Exception Sheet.

Submission Instructions:

• Vendors are solely responsible for ensuring their responses are submitted by the stated deadline.
• Responses may be submitted online through the bid posted on Public Purchase.com, or delivered as sealed bids to:

  before 11:00:00 a.m., PST on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
• The Quotation Request # PR2600660 and bid title "Convault Fuel Tanks" must appear on the outside of the envelope for sealed bids.
• For online submissions, it is the vendor's responsibility to ensure the completed Quotation Request form and Comply/Exception Sheet are uploaded and included with the response.
• Faxed or direct emailed responses are not permitted.
• All late bids will be rejected without exception.

• Questions submitted by Noon, PST on May 11, 2026, will be answered. The County will attempt to answer all other questions as well.
