Background
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is seeking to replace two existing rooftop air-cooled chiller units at their Golden Gate Division facility located in Vallejo, Solano County, California. This project is part of the State of California's efforts to maintain and upgrade its facilities to ensure efficient operation and compliance with health and safety standards.

Work Details
The project involves the following tasks:
1. Demolition and removal of two existing rooftop air-cooled chiller units.
2. Furnishing and installation of two new rooftop air-cooled chiller units, with the requirement that each unit be changed one at a time to minimize disruption.
3. Existing chilled water pumps, piping, and controls will remain unchanged.
4. Testing and air balancing of the new HVAC units must be included in the scope of work.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 180 calendar days from the date of award.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the CHP Golden Gate Division office located at 1551 Benicia Road, Vallejo, CA 94591.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid California Contractor's License (Class B) to qualify for this project. Additionally, bidders must submit Certificates of Reported Compliance for any fleet vehicles used in accordance with California Air Resources Board regulations prior to contract execution. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid site inspection on March 26, 2025, is required for eligibility to bid.
