Construct Wellhead Treatment at Pump Station 101A

Background
The City of Fresno is seeking bids for the construction of wellhead treatment equipment at Pump Station 101A. This project aims to enhance the water treatment capabilities of the facility, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and improving water quality for the community. The total construction allocation for this project is $2,320,000.00.

Work Details
The scope of work includes: procurement and installation of wellhead treatment equipment at Well Pump Station 101A, which consists of GAC vessels, manganese treatment vessels, replacement of the existing discharge pipe, additional chemical feed and analyzer facilities, and associated mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.

The contractor will also be responsible for site preparation, demolition and disposal, earthwork and grading, crushed rock surfacing, site concrete work, installation of chemical systems and analyzers, electrical and instrumentation work, startup and testing procedures, as well as painting and coating.

Period of Performance
The contract work must be completed within eighty-five (85) working days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Well Pump Station 101A located in Fresno, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must hold a valid Class 'A' Contractor’s License issued by the State of California. They are required to submit a Bid Deposit amounting to ten percent (10%) of the total net bid amount in forms such as a certified check or bidder’s bond. Additionally, bidders must comply with all local labor laws including prevailing wage requirements as defined by California Labor Code sections 1771.1 and 1771.5.
