CON | RFQ2026-02 Salesforce Professional Services

Background
The City and County of San Francisco, Office of the Controller (CON), is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to seek qualified suppliers for expertise in Salesforce software configuration, customization, and platform management. This initiative aims to support and enhance the Citywide Nonprofit Monitoring and Capacity Building Program, which coordinates fiscal and compliance monitoring for approximately 230 nonprofit contractors funded across 15 City departments.

The Controller’s Office has implemented a Salesforce-based system to manage documentation workflows, monitoring schedules, reporting, communication, and data integrity.

Work Details
Proposers are expected to provide services that include:
1. Configuration of Salesforce software tailored to the needs of the Monitoring Program.
2. Customization of Salesforce functionalities to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
3. Management of the Salesforce platform to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

The services will support the full lifecycle of monitoring activities including scheduling reviews, storing documentation, generating reports, and tracking follow-up actions.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract term may last up to four (4) years with options to extend for an additional three (3) years, totaling a maximum of seven (7) years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the City and County of San Francisco.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must demonstrate prior experience with similar projects, including at least two project descriptions involving public sector clients within the last three years. At least one project must have been successfully completed and accepted by the client. Additionally, one lead staff member must have served in a comparable role on one of these projects.
