Community Outreach Consulting Services

Background
The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) is seeking offers for Community Outreach Consulting Services. MTS is a California public agency established under Section 120000 et seq. of the California Public Utilities Code, with a mission to provide safe, reliable, and efficient public transportation services.

The goal of this contract is to support MTS's community outreach activities over a potential term of five years, which includes three base years and two optional one-year extensions at MTS's discretion.

Work Details
The selected consultant will be responsible for various community outreach activities, including but not limited to: developing outreach strategies, engaging with target audiences, coordinating with community-based organizations, and providing oversight for outreach initiatives.

Specific responsibilities include:
1) Consultant Responsibilities - develop and implement outreach plans;
2) Ambassador Responsibilities - engage with the community on behalf of MTS;
3) Target Audiences - identify and reach out to diverse community groups;
4) Coordination with Community Based Organizations (CBOs) - work collaboratively to enhance outreach efforts.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of up to five years, consisting of three base years and two optional one-year extensions.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in the San Diego metropolitan area as required by MTS.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers are encouraged to include participation from Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), minority-owned businesses (MBEs), women-owned businesses (WBEs), disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs), and other small businesses in their proposals.

Proposers must also demonstrate compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity Program and submit a Workforce Report as part of their proposal.
