Description

07-LA-405-0.0/12.8 *** LOS ANGELES COUNTY ON ROUTE 405 AND AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS FROM ORANGE COUNTY LINE TO ROUTE 405/110 SEPARATION
Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this solicitation for a project aimed at improving roadway conditions on Route 405 in Los Angeles County. The project involves cold planing asphalt concrete (AC) pavement and placing hot mix asphalt (HMA) and concrete pavement.

The goal is to enhance the safety and functionality of the roadway from the Orange County line to the Route 405/110 separation.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Cold plane existing AC pavement to specified depths.
2. Place new HMA in accordance with Caltrans specifications.
3. Install concrete pavement as required at designated locations.

The estimated contract amount is $96,000,000, which is subject to change. The total working days allocated for this project are 1000 days.

Period of Performance
The bid package will be available starting January 6, 2025, with a bid opening scheduled for February 27, 2025.

Place of Performance
