CI-260 MVS Center Audiovisual Upgrade

Background
The project is initiated by the Trustees of the California State University, specifically for CSU Channel Islands, located at 1 University Dr., Camarillo, CA 93012. The mission of this contract is to upgrade the audiovisual systems in the MVS Conference Room 2179 and Smith Decision Center 1908. The goal is to enhance the functionality and quality of audiovisual equipment for better service delivery in these facilities.

Work Details
The work involves the installation of new audiovisual equipment and systems as detailed in the Scope of Work document. This includes:
- Installation of new audiovisual systems for MVS Conference Room 2179 and Smith Decision Center 1908.
- Removal of existing audiovisual equipment, which shall not be disposed of by the contractor.
- The project is estimated at $110,000.00.
- The contractor must comply with public works project regulations including prevailing wage laws and must register with the Department of Industrial Relations.
- Mandatory qualifications include experience in similar projects, being an authorized dealer for major products, and having certified designers and installers on site during installation.
