CHP Santa Rosa Area office - Gate Replacement Services

Background
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is seeking bids for Gate Replacement Services at the Santa Rosa Area Office. The CHP's mission is to enhance public safety and security on California's highways. This contract aims to replace existing gates to improve access control and security at the facility.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Gate Replacement Services as detailed in Exhibit A. This includes the removal of existing gates, installation of new gates, and any necessary modifications to ensure compliance with safety standards. The work must adhere to all applicable building codes and regulations. The contractor must also ensure that the new gates are operational and meet the specifications outlined in the IFB.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on September 1, 2025, and will run through August 31, 2026. There may be extensions based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the CHP Santa Rosa Area Office located at 6100 Labath Avenue, Rohnert Park, CA 94928.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet the following requirements: possess a valid California Contractor's State License Board (CSLB) License C-61/D-28 for Doors, Gates and Activating Contractor; be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR); comply with Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation requirements of at least 5%; provide proof of liability insurance as specified in Exhibit E; and pass a driver license check for personnel assigned to the contract.
